Welcome to BCE Bakhtiyarpur
Bakhtiyarpur College of Engineering (BCE), affiliated with Bihar Engineering University, stands as a sought-after destination for engineering studies in Bihar. The institute is one of the 38 government engineering colleges established in each district of Bihar by the Department of Science Technology and Technical Education, Government of Bihar. It started its first academic session in 2016 from the old campus of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Patna, at Patliputra Colony. It was shifted to Bakhtiyarpur town of Patna district in the year 2020 with a state-of-the-art infrastructure conducive to a healthy academic environment.
The institute is presently offering six undergraduate programs in Mechanical, Electrical, and Electronics, Computer Science, Computer Science (IOT), and Fire Technology and Safety Engineering, with a total intake of 360 students per academic session.
The alumni of BCE have made their mark in their respective careers in academics, corporate organizations, civil services and enterprise and are in constant touch with the institute.
