Greetings from C-DAC Patna!

We are delighted to invite the students of your esteemed institution to take part in Cyber Hackathon 2025, a national-level cyber innovation challenge jointly organized by the Economic Offences Unit (EOU), Bihar Police and C-DAC Patna.

This initiative aims to provide a platform for engineering and technology students to showcase their problem-solving skills, creativity, and technical expertise in the domain of cybersecurity. The hackathon is open to all students pursuing engineering or technology-related disciplines, and participants must register in teams of 3 to 5 members. In order to promote inclusivity and diversity in tech, each team is encouraged to include at least one female member. Please note that company participation is not permitted.

Participants will compete under innovative and critical themes such as Advanced Threat Detection, Secure Communication and Data Storage, Digital Forensics Excellence, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in Cybersecurity, and User Authentication and Identity Management.

The hackathon will begin with idea submission and culminate in a 24-hour challenge round. The timeline is as follows: registrations begin on May 16, solution submissions close on June 01, the hackathon starts on June 25, and the results will be announced along with the award ceremony on June 26.

Selected teams will not only win from a total prize pool of ₹60,000, but also stand a chance to earn internship opportunities with the Economic Offences Unit of Bihar Police and C-DAC Patna, providing hands-on experience in real-world cybersecurity environments.
